About This Programme

Many students come to ANTS with limited confidence in English, which can affect their ability to fully engage with academic content, classroom discussions, and written materials. The ESL course addresses this by providing a structured, supportive environment where students can develop the English language skills they need to thrive. The course covers core language areas including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, writing, and spoken communication. Students learn to express their ideas clearly and use English correctly across different contexts — whether in academic settings, the workplace, or everyday social life. Beyond language skills, the ESL programme builds important academic foundations. Students develop the ability to read textbooks, write essays, follow lectures, and participate actively in class — skills that prepare them for higher education and professional careers. Stronger English proficiency also opens access to a wider range of learning resources and global communication. The programme is further enriched by a discipleship component, which nurtures the spiritual growth of every student. Through the study of Scripture, prayer, and Christian values such as love, humility, honesty, and service, students are formed not only as competent communicators but as individuals of strong character and deep faith — fully prepared to serve God and others.
