Completed in 2003, the ANTS Chapel has served as the spiritual centre of our community for over two decades. It is more than a building — it is where faculty and students gather daily to seek God's face, aligning academic pursuit with deep spiritual vitality.
Our worship is vibrant and interdenominational, reflecting the diverse cultures of the 10+ nations represented at ANTS. Through Morning Devotions, Community Chapel, and Evening Prayer, we mold servant leaders who are spiritually nourished and ready for ministry.

Welcome to the ANTS Chapel — a sacred space set apart for encounter, renewal, and growth. Whether you are a new student finding your footing in faith, a seasoned believer deepening your walk, or simply someone seeking God's presence, this Chapel is for you.
My role as Chaplain is to walk alongside every member of our community — in seasons of joy, in moments of doubt, and in the ordinary rhythm of daily life. I believe that spiritual formation is not a destination but a daily journey, and it is my privilege to journey with you.

Know the Truth & Overcome Error | 1 John 4:1–3
How can we distinguish truth from error in a world filled with many voices claiming to speak for God?
In this thought-provoking chapel sermon, Pastor Jerome takes us through 1 John 4:1–3 (ESV) and challenges believers to exercise spiritual discernment rather than accepting every teaching or spiritual claim at face value.
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God...” — 1 John 4:1
The message highlights the danger of false teaching and reminds us that the greatest protection against error is knowing and standing firmly in the truth of God's Word.
People may use Christian vocabulary, stand behind pulpits, appear on radio and television, or speak in the name of God—but these things alone do not establish that a message is true. We are called to test every spirit and examine every teaching according to Scripture.
🔎 How Do We Recognize Truth?
Pastor Jerome draws attention to the following principles from 1 John 4:1–3:
📖 Test Every Spirit
We should not automatically believe every spiritual claim. Scripture calls us to examine and test what we hear.
✝️ Look at What Is Said About Jesus Christ
A key test is whether a teaching genuinely confesses Jesus Christ and remains faithful to the truth about Him.
🎯 Examine the Centre of the Teaching
Instead of being impressed by appearances, personalities, platforms, or eloquent words, ask: What does this teaching say about Jesus?
⚠️ Do Not Follow Every Spiritual Voice
Not every person who speaks in God's name necessarily speaks God's truth. Discernment is essential for every believer.
The sermon also points us to Matthew 24:24, reminding us that false prophets and false claims can be convincing. Therefore, Christians must become grounded in God's Word so that they can recognize error when they encounter it.

Know the truth so that you can overcome error.
The answer to false teaching is not fear, but biblical knowledge, spiritual discernment, and a firm foundation in Jesus Christ.
As believers, we must learn to look beyond the preacher, platform, presentation, or Christian vocabulary and continually ask:
Does this teaching agree with God's Word? Does it honour Jesus Christ?
